The journey has just begun.
Chris Domanski
My name is Chris, an echo of Krzysztof's Polish essence. Born in 1977 amidst the historic tapestry of Poznań, I was profoundly touched by the seismic shift of 1989—the breathtaking collapse of Europe's monolithic communist stronghold, the Soviet Union. Guided by dedicated professors, who not only prepared me for life's challenges but also imbued me with knowledge and wisdom, I witnessed the birth of a new era as Poland's gates swung wide in 1990. Liberated from the yoke of oppression, nearly 40 million souls soared into newfound freedom. As a son of Poland, my heart beats in harmony with the rhythm of Freedom—a deeply personal journey that I passionately articulate on canvas.
Twenty-five years ago, my restless spirit embarked on a poetic odyssey through Berlin's pulsating streets, Cork's soulful alleys, Amsterdam's kaleidoscopic lanes, and London's vibrant crossroads—where the metro scenes of London and Berlin stand as the finest stages for improvised artistry, spanning from music to painting—only to return to Berlin's embrace. A brief sojourn in Paris added a lyrical note to my wanderlust. Through the majestic Alps of Austria and England's verdant expanses, my path culminated in a revelatory encounter—Switzerland's Basel. A city where diverse cultures intermingle, where languages converge, and where the river reigns as Basel's queen. That river is the Rhine.
